Free Micro Course: Stress-Busting Tips for Teachers
Teaching can be stressful. It’s easy to feel consumed by lesson planning, grading, communicating with parents and colleagues, and handling troubled students. If you don’t identify and manage signs of stress early, you’ll be at risk for struggling with burnout.
In this free micro course, you’ll gain practical skills for decreasing stress in the classroom environment. You’ll learn how to manage stress more effectively and meet challenges head on so you can become a healthier and more positive leader for yourself and your students.
In this micro course, you’ll learn how to:
- Evaluate signs and symptoms related to stress.
- Use prevention techniques to help you cope with stress.
- Respond to traumatic events in a calm and supportive manner.
Once you complete the course, you will receive a certificate from Advancement Courses notating that you’ve received 3 PD hours, at no cost to you.
Applicability of professional development hours varies from state to state. Please follow your district or governing body’s approval process to verify acceptance. Though we are an approved provider in IL, MT, NY, PA, and WA, these states require additional reporting not available in our micro courses.
